Summer is here — and we’re stepping into it with open hands, open hearts, and open tables.

From prayer walks and backyard potlucks to a neighbourhood festival and a weekly dive into Scripture, we’re showing up across the city — in Schonsee, Cy Becker, Trumpeter, Blatchford, Leduc, and beyond — to live out simple, Spirit-led community.

These gatherings aren’t fancy. There’s no stage, no spotlight. Just regular people sharing meals, praying for their neighbourhoods, serving where it counts, and growing together in Jesus. It’s all part of what we’re dreaming toward in Vision 2030 — everyday discipleship rooted around the table.

Here’s what’s happening this summer:

Community Meals
Pull up a chair and bring a dish — we’ll eat, connect, and share stories of what God is doing.

Neighbourhood Prayer Walks
Come walk with us as we listen to God and pray peace over specific neighbourhoods.

Serve Sunday (July 20 – Leduc)
A chance to serve and feed families in partnership with Action for Healthy Communities from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm.

All Nations Summer Festival (July 27, 29–30)
This will be our third year volunteering at the festival. Two nights of food, music, and fun in partnership with the All Nations Centre. Click here sign up for their training day on July 27 (6:00 pm to 9:00 pm).

Weekly Study through Philippians
Each week, we’ll gather with anyone who’s hungry to grow — reading through the book of Philippians, one chapter at a time. Whether you’re new to the Bible or have read it for years, you’re welcome to take part in the weekly Bible study.
